Job description
- Full P&L responsibility for all sales and marketing activities in China
- Providing positive and dynamic leadership to a team of 10+ employees
- Strategically developing the business and implementing sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue and increase brand awareness
- Develop and execute a strategy to set up a local production
- Manage and further deepen the relations with the most important key accounts
- Staffing and personnel development
- Effective cooperation with the HQ
- Defining mid- and long-term business plans for the region
- Direct reporting to the MD/ Board in Germany
Requirements
- BSc/BA in business administration or a similar field or technical degree
- Several years of experience as a sales manager in the connectivity industry, electrical engineering, or automation
- Experience with leading a manufacturing unit desirable
- Good knowledge of key markets (communications, engineering, automation, rail/transportation, etc.)
- Strong understanding of commercial processes (finance and performance measurement)
- Excellent organizational and leadership, as well as communication and presentation skills
- Languages: Mandarin and English
