Job description
- Full P&L responsibility for the entire business in Japan
- Providing positive and dynamic leadership for a team of 30+ employees
- Further developing the business within the existing markets such as machine building & robotics, automation, transportation, data center, renewable energies, and entirely new markets
- Define mid- and long-term business plans for the region
- Expanding of direct sales networks as well as distribution channels
- Manage and further deepen the business relations with the most important Key Accounts personally
- Direct reporting line to the APAC President
Requirements
- Technical degree; MBA would be a plus or degree in business administration with sound technical experience
- Long-term leadership experience in general or sales management roles, preferably incl. P&L responsibility
- Good knowledge in the field of automation, electrical engineering, or electronics for industrial applications
- Profound knowhow in developing and improving sales organizations
- Entrepreneurial, motivational, and result-driven personality with conceptual strength and analytical skills
- Fluent in Japanese and very good skills in English
- Trustworthy person living in close proximity to Yokohama
